Mushroom Foraging: Two Hour Classroom Session

Where: Goodell Gardens Events Barn
Time: 6-8 PM

During the classroom session, there will be informational handouts and a presentation on basic mycology, foraging legally and safely, an overview of common local species, and the process of identifying unknown mushrooms. Specimens of multiple species of locally foraged mushrooms will be passed around for discussion and observation. Ending with Q&A and open discussion of anything and everything about fungi.
The additional hands-on session on Sunday, September 28th 1-3 PM at Wainer Park. Separate registration is required.
