Join Victoria and Christopher Vacher of Enchanted Nature for an introduction to the hidden world of fungi. They are two of thirteen state certified mycologists in Virginia and they organize the annual Enchanted Mushroom Festival.
In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of mycology and mushroom foraging, including identifying features of a few of the toxic and edible mushrooms that grow in our region. We’ll also explore the role of fungi in the forest. This workshop will provide a practical starting point for anyone curious about fungi and foraging.
