The 2026 Horry County Museum Documentary Film Series continues with South Carolinians in WWII: A Path to Victory. This episode, one of nine in the series, follows our veterans from the beaches of Normandy through the hedgerows of France, continues through to Operation Market Garden and the beginning of the Battle of the Bulge. Additional sections include stories from veterans who served under General George S. Patton and moments of rest and relaxation during the war.
The film is free to the public and will be shown at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 9th at the Horry County Museum, located at 805 Main Street in Conway.
