Murals In Motion

SCD deepens its connection to the Rosemary District, a community that has been such a meaningful home for our work. Inspired by the district’s vibrant murals and creative energy, launches new project Murals in Motion is a site-responsive performance series that activates five murals throughout the Rosemary District through contemporary dance and live music. Each mural becomes a living stage for original choreographic works, inviting audiences to experience the neighborhood through movement, sound, and visual art.
The project will be presented as a series of three curated performances, each welcoming over 100 audience members per show. Audiences will move together through the district, experiencing a guided journey of performances that reflect both the identity of the murals and the spirit of the community surrounding them.
