Book Talk: Mum’s the Word SeriesYou're invited to a special book talk where I’ll be sharing the journey behind both books in my Mum’s the Word series — Mum’s the Word and Mum’s the Word: The MotherWell Journey.
This event will explore the inspiration, stories, and real-life experiences that shaped both books — from the personal reflections and everyday realities of motherhood in the first book, to the broader community-focused themes explored in the second. The MotherWell Journey dives deeper into the social issues impacting women and girls, and the reasons behind the creation of our charity and support services.
I’ll talk about the writing process, the power of storytelling, and the importance of making space for honest, often untold conversations about motherhood, identity, mental health, and community.
Whether you’ve read the books or are new to the series, this talk is for anyone who values truth, connection, and the voices of women. There will be time for questions, reflection, and sharing.
