Mums Matter!

We're delighted to invite you to a special breakfast for mums of all ages and stages, where you can make a special keepsake gift by yourself or with your child/grandchild. Invite your friends and come and make new friends. Please book a place so we can get numbers for catering and manage the space on the hall.

School run and arrivals:

This will be a very relaxed breakfast. You can come straight from the school run (if you do one) and enjoy your breakfast while others arrive. We will start the crafting at around10.00am. You can head off when you need to and we will pack away from 11.30. Do stay and chat if you would like to.

Pre-schoolers and babies are welcome:

Preschoolers and babies are welcome! There will be toys for them to play while you enjoy yourself.

You don't have to come with children:

By the way, you don't have to come with children and you don't have to get a photo taken! Just come and relax with us over breakfast!

Getting to Thanington Resource Centre, Canterbury:

Thanington Road is on the bus route out of Canterbury to Ashford, up Wincheap Road. The Centre is only 5 minutes walk from Wincheap park and ride. There is plenty of parking, friendly staff and accessible toilets for us to use.

Offered on a pay what you can basis, booking is essential:

Thanks to grants, we are able to offer this special breakfast at a reduced rate for everyone on a pay-what-you-can basis. Please book a place for each adult, children come for free. Your contribution on the day will help to ensure our not for profit affordable parents' mental health support continues for everyone in 2025 and 2026.

You Eventbrite ticket includes:

• Breakfast croissant and drinks
• Two pre drilled wood slices (approx 10cm diameter) and materials to decorate them with
• A contribution towards staffing costs and volunteer expences.

If you would like more wood slice decorations:

We will have more wood slice decorations you can purchase on the day if you wuld like to make more gifts. These can be purchased with cash or thrugh Sumup at £2.50 each.

I've been supporting the emotional wellbeing of mums, parents and families for over 13 years now after overcoming Tokophobia (fear of childbirth) myself. I'd love to offer this pampering time to you because mums matter, because YOU matter!
