Multicam / Multitrack Workshop Series - Featuring Amanda Movio
About this Event
This in-person workshop series is for students, beginners, college graduates, and anyone looking to learn audio recording, video recording, and lighting fundamentals.
Learn by doing
This workshop series creates a bridge between musicians’ need for professional recordings and the access for hands-on learning opportunities in the music industry.
Participants will make a multicam, multitrack recording of a song for a working band in the city, in a slow-paced, methodical environment where there’s time to explore why production decisions are made.
Get hands-on experience as an audio engineer, camera operator, or lighting technician, while reinforcing fundamental audio and video skills. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you’d like in a comfortable, professional work environment.
Professional experience
Participants receive a production assistant credit in either audio or video on a recording that will live beyond the workshop series. The band can use it in their professional careers and as promotional material—it’s not just a demonstration that stays within the workshop. You’ll also have a chance to network with local industry freelancers and begin building credits on professionally released material.
What’s included
- A full 8-hour workshop day with a catered lunch
