Students will have opportunities to compare informal and academic writing, revise sentences for tone and clarity, and reflect on their writing goals.

November 26 – Part 2: Thesis Statements. A focused session on creating clear, specific, and arguable thesis statements. Students will practice distinguishing between topics and thesis statements, revising weak claims, and drafting theses for their academic assignments.
