Mugwort Evening - Moon Magic & Medicine
Advertisement
Are you ready to connect to the magic of Mugwort?
Come join Stef for a relaxed evening walk along the Firth of Forth to get up close and personal with plant ally Artemisia Vulgaris, or as it's commonly known: Mugwort!
Magic & Medicine Awaits...
Mugwort has a long history of use in Scotland and other countries as a medicinal herb, especially as a women's herb,
and as a sacred plant used in spiritual and magical practices.
It's used by herbalists, druids, witches and shamans alike!
It's connected to the moon, and we will meet it under the full moon energy.
During this evening event you will learn about both practical and spiritual uses of mugwort and how to safely identify and forage it.
We will start with a coastal walk and then retreat into the woods under the shelter of yew trees to sit in circle.
You will then get to make your own mugwort saining (smoke cleansing) wand to take home with you, and we will finish off the evening with a relaxing mugwort tea ceremony to help you connect even deeper to the spirit of this sacred plant.
This is your opportunity to connect more deeply with nature, the old ways, and your own health.
Please note: Mugwort tea is not safe for those who are pregnant. You can still join in other activities, but it is not recommended to drink or consume the mugwort.
Taking place in Torryburn, Fife. Exact location and directions provided after booking.
£20 per person
Space is limited to 12 participants.
