Tyler appreciates all kinds of music, and he invites us to both the powerful & the playful, the sacred & the sexy, and all the loving and funky and wild vibrations that come with being a human on this earth. Join us in the Dance of this Soundscape, from the ancient past into the distant future, arriving, appreciating, and enjoying this very moment, right here and now. Shannon is an embodiment alchemist with 2 decades of teaching in the improvisational arts. She found a deep love and respect for the art and technique of Contact Improvisation through her studies with Kathleen Hermesdorf and Nancy Stark Smith. Shannon loves articulating the mechanics of weight sharing for those unfamiliar with the form and brings delight to the space with her unique ability to create safety while spicing things up with humor and spontaneity.

Yoga: David Schlussel
David Schlussel is a yoga teacher, and life coach. David experiences yoga as the practice of reconnecting with our wholeness. When we operate from our wholeness, we experience the incredible strength and flexibility that is our potential. David coaches his students from fixed ideas about what they can and can’t do, towards life as a playful exploration of possibility.
David began his exploration of yoga with Ashtanga, where he learned the benefit of regular consistent practice. He continued his training by studying Dynamic Yoga, where he discovered the deeper strengths available through activating along the muscular and energetic pathways of the body, and where he developed his passion for yoga philosophy. He is currently inspired by Anusara Yoga, which has infused his practice and teaching with an empowering understanding of alignment, therapeutics, and fun.
David’s classes are a flowing celebration of our bodies, designed to exercise, educate, integrate, delight, challenge and recharge. He is known for his warm approachability, contagious curiosity, gentle and liberating hands on adjustments, facilitating healing of old injuries, and offering concepts that support his students both on the mat and in their daily life.

Food: Sacred Decadence (Leela Maya)
Leela started her journey as a raw vegan dessert chef in 2007 during the early days of Cafe Gratitude where it first began in San Francisco and Marin County. It was working there that she discovered the power of intention, community, & how truly nourishing food felt like sensual kitchen witch craft for her soul. It was love at first bite. Since then she has been a chef and product developer for local healthy food companies like Urban Remedy and Good Earth.
She is wholeheartedly happy to serve the Bay Area Dance Community in nourishing connection from within.
When she is not playing with her food, Leela teaches Play based Authentic Relating & Connection Classes, Full & New Moon Circles for Womyn+, & Cacao Ceremony Soundbaths. She believes that love, joy, connection, and play are key ingredients to a healthy happy life. Blessed Be and Bon Appétit!
