Mozart: Piano Concerto No. 21 by Candlelight
Charity Music in Action presents a stunning evening with Mozart’s most famous concerto – the Piano Concerto No. 21, performed by international soloist Danny Driver with the Celoniatus Ensemble.
The concert opens with the brilliance of Handel’s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and ends with the warmth and lyricism ofTchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings.
Experience an evening of inspiring classical music in the atmospheric setting of the University Church, Oxford, illuminated by candlelight.

He’s been a soloist globally at the BBC Proms, the Southbank Centre’s International Piano Series, Music Toronto, San Francisco Performances, Montreal’s Salle Bourgie, and Carnegie Hall New York.
Celoniatus Ensemble
Named after her 1730 Italian violin, international soloist Harriet Mackenzie directs the Celoniatus Ensemble. Featuring hand-plucked international prizewinners and established professionals in an innovative chamber orchestra, the group's sold-out debut performance of Piazzolla/Desyanikov's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires led to exciting invitations around the UK and Europe.
These include performances at Chichester Cathedral; Salisbury Cathedral: the inaugural concert season of the new World Heart Beat Concert Hall in London; the acclaimed 'TunedIn' Series in London; Bilbao Festival; Magdalen College Oxford; as well as live broadcasts on BBC Radio 3.
Celoniatus Ensemble work with leading soloists such as the Grammy award-winning singer Sir Willard White, Lucy Crowe and Finghin Collins.
