The Muppets – Movies Meet Music50 years ago, "The Muppet Show" premiered and we are celebrating its anniversary!
“The Muppets” is a lovingly crafted legacy sequel that honors the history and cultural impact of the chaotic crew. All while being as silly and wild as usual.
Walter and Gary, two of the greatest Muppet-Maniacs alive, find out that the old studio is about to be demolished by a greedy businessman. The only way to save it—you've guessed it—is to bring Kermit, Piggy, Fozzy, and the rest of the gang back together and put on a fundraiser show.
In cooperation with “Movies Meet Music” and the HfMT, we show the film with a special introduction by film critic Christoph Dobbitsch, who has a few (musical and non-musical) surprises for the audience. It is going to be an unforgettable afternoon for Muppet fans and newcomers alike.

Walter is the Muppets' biggest fan. The fact that he himself is a puppet has not gone unnoticed by him and his big brother Gary, with whom he spends most of his time, much to the chagrin of Gary's girlfriend Amy. When an oil baron hatches a sinister plan to demolish the Muppets' old studio, Walter's big chance arrives. At last he can not only get to know his idols, but also reunite them after a long separation to preserve their past together and perhaps even give them a future. Walter is the Muppets' biggest fan.
