Join us for a free screening of Apollo 13, sponsored by AARP Oklahoma, at Movie on the Green on Thursday, May 21. Bring your blankets, grab a bite to eat from local food trucks and En Fuego, and settle in for a night under the stars.The first 200 guests will receive free popcorn.
Before the show, test your space knowledge with Space Trivia for a chance to win a $100 gift card courtesy of AARP. Guest can also stop by the coloring station to design their own mission patch sticker.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

This Hollywood drama is based on the events of the Apollo 13 lunar mission, astronauts Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks), Fred Haise (Bill Paxton) and Jack Swigert (Kevin Bacon) find everything going according to plan after leaving Earth's orbit. However, when an oxygen tank explodes, the scheduled moon landing is called off. Subsequent tensions within the crew and numerous technical problems threaten both the astronauts' survival and their safe return to Earth.
