About this Event

Join us for the Movie Bootcamp Summer Premiere—a powerful afternoon of storytelling, healing, and youth empowerment through film. After four weeks of hands-on training in screenwriting, cinematography, and editing, our youth participants will debut their original short film on the big screen.

Attendees can expect an inspiring film screening, a live youth panel reflecting on their creative journeys, special guest speakers, and a certificate ceremony honoring their work. Come celebrate the voices of our next generation of storytellers and witness the impact of creativity as a tool for healing and growth.

Held inside the Gary Comer Youth Center, the space will allow attendees to connect, take photos, and get a first look at the energy behind this summer’s transformative media program before the film hits the screen.
