Narwhal Video is a 650-square-foot video production studio built for creative directors, agencies, and independent videographers. Part of Narwhal Studios, a world-class recording studio, the space offers the flexibility and technical quality of a professional production environment in a setting designed for creative work.
Get bent, my love is Umraan's first full-length album to step beyond the hip hop and experimental influences that defined his earlier music. Recorded with live musicians and analog techniques, the project favors raw performances, rich arrangements, and intimate songwriting.
Recorded over two years at Narwhal Studios, and engineered and mixed with acclaimed Chicago producer Brian Deck, whose credits include Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Califone, and Counting Crows. Together, they crafted an organic record that embraces live performance, timeless songwriting, and the warmth of analog recording.
The full album arrives August 7, but listeners can experience the lead single "always&forever" on all major streaming platforms, plus audio and visuals for "My love," "More (reprise)," and "Care for you" on Umraan Syed's YouTube channel.
