Join us for an immersive evening where science, history, anatomy, and curiosity collide in true apothecary fashion.

During this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore:

• The history of wet specimen preservation and the scientists who helped shape the field

• The science behind preservation techniques and specimen care

• Safety procedures, ethical sourcing, and legal considerations

• Anatomy observation and preparation methods

• Proper handling and display techniques for preserved specimens

Participants will also create and preserve their own mouse wet specimen to take home in a glass apothecary jar.

Whether you’re fascinated by medical history, natural science, oddities, or the macabre, this workshop is designed to be educational, respectful, and unforgettable.
