Our Mourne Madness trek is back this summer! Explore the beautiful Mourne Mountain range in our epic Mourne Madness challenge on Saturday 10th and/or Sunday 11th August 2024. Supporters will have a choice to take on a 1 day challenge or complete 5 peaks over two days. Our treks are led by our amazing Mountain Leaders who have supported Autism NI for over 15 years.
1 Day Trek (10th August 2024) - The group will be starting early at Meelmore Lodge and climb Slieve Commedagh (765m) and then the mighty Slieve Donard (850m).
Registration: £25pp, Sponsorship target: £100pp
2 Day Trek (10th -11th August 2024) - This option will be completing 5 peaks over 2 days including Slieve Commedagh and Slieve Donard on the first day, and Slieve Bearnagh, Slieve Meelmore and Slieve Meelbeg on the second day. The ‘2 Day Trek’ includes overnight accommodation at Meelmore Lodge where the group will be starting and finishing the treks over the 2 days.
Registration: £60pp, Sponsorship target: £200pp
**Please note, participants must be over 18 years old, have a certain level of fitness to take part in this challenge and complete a medical form to declare their fitness and well-being.
