It’s time for another Mountain State Music on the Folklore Stage!We’ve teamed up with our friends at Daily 304 to bring you this in-store concert series that’s also live-streamed and recorded to offer live video performances to WV Artists.
For our October edition, we'll be featuring Charleston natives Mike Pushkin w/ Alasha Al-Qudwah. Mike is a folk singer/songwriter who's been performing in the region for decades and fronting multiple bands while building up his political career where he represents the 54th district in the WV House of Delegates. Accompanying Mike for this performance, Alasha is a phenomenal classically trained violinist who performs with local favorites Minor Swing and Qiet.
We've also got Sea Scout, an introspective Indie Rock project fronted by Charleston singer & guitarist Sean Knisely, bringing songs about the urgency of staying present, the struggle not to disappear into distraction, and the internal war for a meaningful life of honest love.
Both performances you definitely won’t wanna miss.
As always, this is a free event, but donations are highly encouraged at the door for the musicians.
