We ride to the top of Mount St. Helena, enjoy the sunset and awesome Corn Moon rise, descending in the dark. This is a unique experience with breathtaking views from the top including Sonoma, Lake and Napa Counties, and the Pacific Ocean. You won't forget it!We will meet in Santa Rosa, in the Safeway parking lot at the intersection of Hwy 12 and Calistoga Rd. Arrive at or before 5:15pm. Look for us on the Calistoga Road side of the lot. We will ride-share to the start point as much a possible. It take 45 minutes to get from Santa Rosa to the trailhead
We will be riding on the service road that maintains the communication towers. It is currently in excellent condition. The ride is 5.5 mi. with 2150 ft. of climbing. Suspension bikes or gravel bikes with 40mm or wider tires are recommended. E-bikes welcome. Lights are also recommended. I have an extra if you need to borrow one.
