The Motor City Chili Bowl is here — a community cook-off and watch party celebrating Detroit’s best flavors while we cheer on the Lions in a primetime showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Expect good food, good music, and good vibes all night long at Urban Fêtes Detroit. Whether you’re bringing your secret chili recipe or just pulling up to taste and vote, this is the ultimate way to experience fall in the D.

• 🔥 Chili Cook-Off – Local chefs & home cooks battle it out.
• 🗳️ Vote for the Winner – Guests decide who takes the crown at halftime.
• 🏆 Prizes + Bragging Rights – One chili earns the title of Motor City’s Chili Champion.
• 🏈 Lions vs. Chiefs Watch Party – Game on the big screen, sound up.
• 🎶 Live DJs – Keeping the energy high before, during, and after the game.
• 🥤 BYOB – Bring your drinks. Food vendors serving sides & snacks will also be on deck.

• General Admission (Guest) – $10
  Includes entry, chili tastings, voting ballot, DJs & Lions Watch Party access.
• Contestant Entry (Chili Cook-Off Competitor) – $50
  Official entry into the competition. Includes table space, outlet, tasting bowls, and chance to win trophy + bragging rights. Bring at least 5 quarts of chili.
• Kids (12 & Under) – Free Entry
  Admission only (tasting band available for $5 at the door).

• 6:45 PM – 7:15 PM → Contestant setup
• 7:00 PM → Doors open, DJs on, chili tastings begin
• 8:20 PM → Kickoff: Lions vs. Chiefs (tasting continues)
• Halftime → Voting closes + winner announced
• End of Game → Event wrap-up
