Join Trevor Zook to explore the moths of Lake Erie's western basin!
About this Event

The second mothing excursion of the Big Bug BioBlitz points us to different habitat and likely new species for the weekend as we approach the historical hemi-marshes of Lake Erie's Western Basin. We will encounter more aquatic insects at the sheets and participants are encouraged to note differences in species from the previous night's mothing location. Participants are welcome to bring flashlights and black-light flashlights and can take photos to document species that show up to the sheet. For your comfort, we recommend wearing dark clothing, long sleeves, pants and a hat, as moths may land on you as well as the sheet.Parking coordinates (Cedar point fishing access): 41.67523, -83.31300
