Do the Rot Thing: Composting - Kids Event

Please bring an empty 2L bottle and some food scraps in a bag in order to make your compost in a bottle if you are able to as we cannot ensure we will have enough for everyone coming.
Presented by the Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful Project, this FREE kids event is open to all. Please bring lawn chairs and dress according to the weather as we intend to be outdoors.
Program Details:
Kids learn the ingredients of compost, why composting is important, and the role of decomposers in compost. Kids work in groups to create compost in a plastic bottle to observe the breaking down of organic materials.
