Mother’s Day Community Circle:Honouring the Love, the Pain, and the Legacy
This Mother’s Day, you are invited into a gentle, sacred Red Tent space — a place where we can gather in honesty, compassion, and deep witnessing.
Together, we will explore the full tapestry of our relationships with our mothers:
~the love that shaped us,
~the pain that marked us,
~the legacy of encountering our Mothers lives on through us.
This circle welcomes it all — the gratitude, the grief, the complexity.
Whether your relationship with your mother is or was close, strained, absent, or evolving, you are welcome exactly as you are.
Through guided reflection, shared wisdom, and quiet moments of connection, we will honour our experiences and the ones we are creating.
This is a space to be held, to remember, to release, and perhaps to reimagine what “mothering” means in your life and the spiritual role of the Great Mother for humanity as a whole.
Come sit in circle. Come as you are.
All genders are welcome at Community Circles.

Where: Christchurch Quaker Centre, 217 Ferry Road, Waltham.
Your guide:
Dr Annie Southern is a follower of the Magdalene and as someone with Romany gypsy heritage acknowledges Sara le Kali who supported Mary Magdalene’s mission in the South of France after the crucifixion.
Annie has experience with Magdalene Light specifically and is committed to supporting lightworkers on their path.
Annie has run many workshops for decades.
Your host:
Jill Natalia is the founder of Red Tent Aotearoa and Red Tent Australia.
She is a Holistic Counsellor and Business Mentor with Conscious Consulting NZ.
Jill is a dynamic and highly skilled facilitator, dedicated changemaker. Jill is known for her wicked sense of humour, skillfully weaving her messages through storytelling and laughter.

What do I bring?
Please bring a snack to share, and a journal to capture aha moments and your water bottle.
Bring an open heart and a longing for connection.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, we will have a list of attendees and will have already made space for you in our hearts.
What time do I arrive?
Please arrive at 2:45 pm to be settled, with your cuppa by 3 pm. We will close the circle at 6pm but you are invited to stay and chat until 6:15pm.
