The day before Mother’s Day – on May 9, 2026 – join us for the second annual MOTHER MAE HAWK AT GREY HAWK FESTIVAL, a family-friendly event celebrating the return of the warm season and the values of community, kindness, and compassion. There is NO cost to attend this event. Here’s what to expect!📖 The event will feature a live storytime-style readings of Grey Hawk’s Children’s Book, “The Legend of Mother Mae Hawk.”
🦅 We’ll unveil a newly constructed giant rustic wooden bird statue, which guests will be invited to decorate with flowers, foliage, streamers, vines, and more over the course of the day.
🎼 Live music from three local music groups: Sideways Sunday (10am-1pm), Owen Walsh (1:30-4:30pm), and Dale Brittain & Randy Saxon (5:30-8:30pm).
🎨 Free crafts that are fun for the whole family.
🛍️ Art and craft vendors, featuring items like succulents, jewelry, pottery, soaps, and more!
🍽️ Delicious festival-style food (counter service)
🍹 Beautiful , themed craft cocktails, beer, wine, mocktails, sodas, and juices
🎲 Lawn games, board games, and plenty of space for kids to play
