About this Event

“Mosaic of Many Countries”

A two‑part creative and cultural workshop where each participant creates a personal totem wood-slice artwork, which then becomes part of a large community mosaic installation representing many Countries, identities, and stories.

Workshop Overview

“My Totem, My Story”

Participants design and decorate their own wood slice oval disc to represent:

  • Their totem
  • Their mob or family identity
  • Their connection to Country
  • A story, memory, or symbol of belonging

Outlining their design using a pencil then scribing using an iron coil burner device, once finished, each piece becomes a standalone artwork and a contribution to the group mosaic for them Hub.
