Join us for the SISN 'Tourism North of the Harbour' Networking Event at View Sydney on 22nd July 2026, at 12:30 PM (AEST) for a relaxed and inspiring afternoon. Guest speaker, Alex Emson , Director of Guest Experience and Commercial Operations at Taronga Conservation Society Australia, will address the topic of how Taronga Zoo, as one of Australia's leading visitor attractions, continues to shape tourism north of Sydney Harbour. An added highlight: former SISN Club President Chris Brown will return to the microphone to conduct the Fines Session (bring your loose change)and confront us with one of his notorious riddles, with a bottle of port for the winner!

MEET THE GUEST SPEAKER
Alex Emson MAICD is Director of Guest Experience and Commercial Operations at Taronga Conservation Society Australia and a Board Member of Koala Conservation Australia(KCA) in Port Macquaire. With more than 30 years of leadership experience across tourism, hospitality and major events, Alex leads a $80 million portfolio encompassing guest experience, hospitality, retail, accommodation, attractions and major events. He has previously held senior executive roles at some of the world's leading venues, including London's O2 Arena. Passionate about leadership, customer experience, conservation and organisational transformation, Alex is recognised for creating high-performing teams and delivering exceptional experiences that drive both commercial and community outcomes.
