Every first and third Sunday, Roger Ferguson, Trevor Hanson, and Mick Nicholson (the More or Less Paulish Trio) appear at Hard Hat Winery north of Poulsbo. Roger, a National Flatpick Champion, plays mandolin and fiddle in addition to guitar. Trevor plays 7- and 8-string guitars. Ex-Navy Band bassist Mick fills out the bottom. They draw on an eclectic range of improvised music, from jazz and swing standards to bluegrass, latin, gypsy, and old-timey Americana -- similar to what the old Less Paulish Trio played. Come sip some wine, have some snacks, bring your dog, enjoy the trees, and hear some cool music. No cover.
