Monthly Wellbeing Group for SEN Parents

Being a parent to a child with additional needs can be beautiful… but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting and lonely at times.

This monthly 2 hour wellbeing group is a chance for SEN parents and carers to take a breath, connect with others who truly understand, and refill their own cup in a safe, nurturing space.

Each month will have a gentle theme to support your emotional wellbeing – from self-care and compassion to managing pressure, guilt, and everything in between. There’ll be space to share (only if you want to), feel heard, and find calm.

We’ll finish each session with a relaxing guided meditation and a short sound experience to help you reset and reconnect with yourself.

• A monthly wellbeing theme
• Gentle discussion and peer support
• Guided meditation
• Soothing sound healing

This group is for: Parents and carers of children with additional or special educational needs – whether diagnosed or undiagnosed. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Cost: These sessions were previously free, but after listening to participant feedback and extending the experience by an extra hour, a small fee is now required. This also helps reduce no-shows and ensures spaces are available for those who truly want to attend. If the cost feels difficult right now but you would still like to join us, please get in touch with me. You will be met with kindness, no judgement and full discretion.

When: Third Thursday of the month 10:30am–12:30pm

Please note my room is upstairs so is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with poor mobility

This is for adults only, please do not bring your child/children.
