Monthly Supper Series: October 2026

Suppers at Headlands offer a unique opportunity to experience an evening at Headlands through the lens of Artists. Gather in our historic, artist-renovated Mess Hall and share a seasonal, family-style meal prepared by Headlands’ Kitchen. Your seat at the table helps sustain our mission of supporting artists and creative exchange.
For our October Supper, we are partnering with Black Feast for a special edition of our Monthly Supper Series as part of the Museum of the African Diaspora’s (MoAD) Nexus Black Art Week.
Created by Nigerian-American Chef, Artist, and Headlands Alum Salimatu Amabebe (‘24-’25) with creative direction by Annika Hansteen-Izora, Black Feast is a culinary event that celebrates Black artists and writers through food and art. The evening will bring together an immersive dining and performance experience. Each gathering draws from the work of a collaborating Black artist to create a four-course meal. Black Feast events have featured artists across disciplines, including Jamila Woods, Madison McFerrin, Jayy Dodd, Lukaza Branfman-Verissimo, Amenta Abioto, and many others.
About MoAD’s Nexus Black Art Week Nexus brings together Bay Area arts institutions, galleries, creative spaces, and artists for a week of exhibitions, programs, and special events that celebrate the richness of the Black artist community in the Bay Area. Organized by the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) in San Francisco, Nexus will enter its third edition in 2026.

Tickets are required for dinner. Maximum of 6 tickets per order. MoAD members are welcome to purchase Member tickets ($75).
