Hey everyone! Recently, it came up during a few gatherings that a lot of community members wished we got together outside of actions, marches and protests more regularly.Ask and ye shall receive! We will be doing a community potluck the first Saturday or Sunday of every month going forward, with round robin hosting by community members.
At actions, we usually all have jobs and responsibilities and it doesn't give us the access to socialize and enjoy each other the way we wish we could.
So, join us! Share food, community, laughs and lets enjoy one another. Invite friends- this is open to all! This is movement work too- solidarity is KEY to collective liberation and cohesion in the coming years when we will need it more than ever.
