Monthly Silver Jewellery Makers Group

Develop your silversmithing skills in a supportive and creative monthly workshop group designed for jewellers who want to continue learning beyond an introductory course.
This six-month series provides the opportunity to build confidence, refine techniques, and work on your own jewellery projects with expert guidance. Whether you have attended one of our one- or two-day silversmithing workshops and are looking to progress further, or you are a motivated beginner eager to develop your skills over time, this group offers a structured yet flexible environment for learning.
The first session will focus on understanding the experience and aspirations of the group, identifying strengths and areas for development, and planning individual projects or creative directions for the months ahead. Subsequent sessions will provide practical tuition in a range of silver jewellery techniques, tools, and processes, alongside dedicated time to work on personal projects.
Participants are required to provide their own silver, solder, and other precious or semi-precious materials. Specialist jewellery-making tools and equipment will be available during each session.
Workshop Dates:
Saturday 3 October
Saturday 7 November
Saturday 12 December
Saturday 9 January
Saturday 13 February
Saturday 13 March
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Venue: Abbey House, Glastonbury
Cost: £65 per session or £360 for the whole series.
Places are limited to 8 participants per workshop to ensure individual guidance and support.
Participants may book individual sessions or secure their place across the full six-month programme at a discounted rate. If you would like to commit to the entire series but would like to pay monthly, please contact [email protected] before booking.
