Thank you for a great first meeting of the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA) and the local Will Dilg Chapter in 2025! We are looking forward to our next meeting, which can be attended in-person or via Zoom. Please note that the Zoom link will be posted on this event a few days before.
We are especially excited to share that Kristin Poppleton of Minnesota Trout Unlimited will be presenting on a number of important topics related to cold water streams of the Driftless Area, namely a recent lawsuit regarding nitrate pollution in the drinking water of the Driftless area.
Members and friends are invited to briefly share an update on another organization that you all may be a part of. If interested, send an email to [email protected] with the name of the organization you would like to present and a 2-sentence summary of what you’d like to share at our February 25th meeting.
As film viewing was identified as a favorite way to gather in community, the Will Dilg Chapter will be tabling at the Frozen River Film Festival in the Atrium of the Science and Learning Center on February 15th-16th, Saturday and Sunday. Check out some films and swing by to say hi!
As always, all are welcome to the February 25th meeting, members and interested community members alike! Warm drinks and cookies will be provided. Please mark your calendar for a regular meeting on March 25th and our Annual Meeting in April.
