We have some exciting series of Bike Maintenance Classes with a specific focus each month coming up on the last Sunday of the month 2-4pm for the next 5 months ran by the incredible team of Women on Wheels [@WomenonWheelsHub] delivered in our Meeting Room. These are mostly for women and non-binary people. Our family sessions are open to all parents/carers (all genders) with your children. -Sunday 26th May 2-4:30pm Puncture Repair class (Women and NB only) Tutor MHAIRI
Join Women on Wheels for an afternoon of hands-on practical learning on how to repair a puncture! All women aged 16+ are welcome, no previous experience necessary.
Please bring your bike if you have one. We will provide tools. Please wear clothes you are happy to get dirty.
-Sunday 30th June 2-4:30pm V Brakes (Women and NB only) Tutor MEG
Join Women on Wheels for an afternoon of hands-on practical learning on how to adjust and change brake pads and cables on bikes with V brakes. All women aged 16+ are welcome, no previous experience necessary. Please bring your bike if you have one. We will provide tools. Please wear clothes you are happy to get dirty
-Sunday 28th July- 2-4:30pm Family Maintenance class (All welcome) Tutor MEG
Build confidence looking after your bike and learn together as a family in this practical & fun 1 hr workshop. This session focuses on tyres. Adults and children 5+ welcome.
-Sunday 25th August- 2-4:30pm- Gear (Women and NB only) Tutor MEG
Join Women on wheels for an afternoon of hands-on practical learning on how to adjust derailleur gears. All women aged 16+ are welcome, no previous experience necessary.
