Monstera Leaf Dish
In this beginner-friendly clay handbuilding class, you'll create a beautiful monstera leaf-inspired dish from stoneware clay. Using texture, shaping, and handbuilding techniques, you'll transform a slab of clay into an elegant botanical piece that is both decorative and functional.
Your finished dish will measure approximately 8" x 10" and is perfect for holding jewelry, keys, candles, soaps, or other small treasures. You'll have the opportunity to add realistic leaf details and choose from a selection of glaze colors to make your piece uniquely yours.
This is a two-step project. During the class, you'll create your monstera leaf dish from clay. Your piece will then be dried and bisque fired by our staff. You'll return approximately 7–10 days later to glaze your creation and prepare it for the final firing. Once completed, your stoneware dish will be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and ready to enjoy for years to come.
A $10 instructional fee is due at registration to reserve your seat. The featured Monstera Leaf Dish project is $45 and will be paid at the class.
Finished pieces measure approximately 8" x 10", though sizes may vary slightly based on individual design choices.
