MONET HAYSTACKS 2-DAY IMMERSIVE OIL PAINTING SERIES Painting Light!
Step into the luminous world of Claude Monet and discover how colour can become your most expressive tool. In this immersive two‑day oil painting workshop with Impressionist painter Rick Worthington.
Artists will investigate the techniques Claude Monet used to capture shifting light, fleeting moments, and atmospheric nuance, focusing especially on his iconic Haystacks series.
Day One focuses on Impressionist colour theory through hands-on mixing exercises and small colour studies. Artists will build a cohesive palette inspired by Monet’s approach to light and temperature.
Day Two applies this palette to a finished painting on canvas, emphasizing simplified forms, expressive brushwork, and colour relationships that suggest changing light.
Suitable for beginners with some painting experience and intermediate painters.
Individual instruction and demonstrations provided.
