Did you know that 90% of a child's brain growth happens during the first 5 years of life?
Join us at our Parent Playgroup where you will learn about the 5 Basic principles and how you can give your child the best start in life. We will have guided brain-boosting activities to support your child's development and where they will have the opportunity to build on skills such as early math skills, early literacy skills, social-emotional health, and language and communication skills to name a few. You will also get a chance to connect with other parents and/or caregivers with young children.
As part of our Parent Playgroup curriculum, parents and/or caregivers will be enrolled in the Basics Insights text message programming which is FREE. You will receive 2 texts per week that are tailored to your child’s age. One text will be a developmental fact and the other will be a simple but fun activity to try with your child that boosts brain development. If you would like to opt out of texting, please let us know via email and give your name and email.
You are your child's first and most important teacher so come and join us on Monday mornings to have fun with your child and to build on your skills to make the most of this important time!
