Monash Law: Pink Drinks - Navigating Queerness in Law
Join Monash Law for our Pink Drinks. An evening dedicated to connection, reflection, and community across Monash’s legal network.
This year's event brings together graduates, students, and professionals to share stories, build meaningful connections, and champion a more inclusive legal profession. At its heart, Pink Drinks is about kindness, visibility, and belonging; a night to amplify diverse voices and exchange perspectives.
Following a welcome from Professor Steven Vaughan, Dean of the Faculty of Law, the evening will feature a moderated panel discussion, Navigating Queerness in Law, bringing together voices from across the judiciary, private practice, community legal sector and the next generation of lawyers to share their experiences of career pathways, visibility, leadership, advocacy and belonging.
Following the discussion, guests are invited to continue the conversation over drinks and canapés while reconnecting with fellow alumni, colleagues and friends of Monash Law.
Pink Drinks is open to LGBTQIA+ members from across the legal community, including the profession, judiciary and tribunals, legal services, academia and law students, as well as Monash Law alumni and allies across the sector.

On the night
- 6.00 pm – Welcome from Professor Steven Vaughan, Dean, Faculty of Law
- 6.15 pm – Navigating Queerness in Law – moderated panel discussion led by Clement Ng, Lecturer, Faculty of Law
- 7.00 pm – Networking, drinks and canapés
