MOMIX: "Botanica"

Following the rhythms of the seasons and the passing of a single day, MOMIX’s "Botanica" is a lush, surreal journey through nature’s shifting imagery, Part “natural aphrodisiac” and part high-concept illusion, Botanica pairs the extraordinary energy of MOMIX’s dancers with intricate props, cinematic projections, and whimsical puppetry. This reimagined staging of this larger-than-life marvel fuses extraordinary athleticism with an eclectic score ranging from birdsong to Vivaldi. More than a performance, Botanica is immersive “visual theater,” animating the energy that drives the natural world and photosynthesizing it with an extra dose of fantasy.
