BLURgrass for a Summer Sunset

What’s Blurgrass? A place where things feel familiar but slightly more colorful and fuzzy around the edges of traditional Bluegrass. Darol and Joe’s Blurgrass - Darol Anger and Joe K. Walsh are living in and exploring the (more or less) bluegrass sounds, and are joined by some wildly virtuosic and widely beloved acoustic musicians: the Steve Martin-award winning banjo powerhouse BB Bowness, Freshgass guitar contest winner Alex Rubin, and the outstanding Brittney Karlson on bass. This is “big tent” bluegrass, where banjo tunes and raging fiddle numbers make space for a Swedish Polska in the mix, and where a sense of exploration and play ties it all together.
