MOKUHANGA DEMO/WORKSHOP with Robin Frood
Mokuhanga is a traditional Japanese woodblock printing technique distinguished by its ecological nature and harmonious connection between material, process, and image-making.
Following a live demonstration of the Mokuhanga printing process, you’ll explore layered printing using stencils to “conceal and reveal” areas of the woodblock, building images through transparency, masking, and colour.
