MOCA Free Movie Night

Settle into the MOCA Theater for free film screenings of movies with themes and ideas connected to the museum's exhibitions and current events. Enjoy concessions from the MOCA Bar and Setlan Coffee Co. The museum is open extended hours from 5-9 p.m., so feel free to explore the galleries before or after the films.

This event takes place during Free Museum Nights @ MOCA presented by Florida Blue, which features a variety of activities and programs.

Geared to an adult audience, but open to all ages.

In 1950s Mexico City, William Lee, an American ex-pat in his late forties, leads a solitary life amidst a small American community. However, the arrival in town of Eugene Allerton, a young student, stirs William into finally establishing a meaningful connection with someone.

Lizzy, an introverted and introspective sculptor, works tirelessly to prepare a new collection for an upcoming gallery show. As she strives to invest her creative energy into her art, she must continually work to manage the complex dynamics of her eclectic, melodramatic inner circle of family and friends.

About MOCA

The Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville (MOCA) is the only museum in Northeast Florida dedicated to contemporary art. MOCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a Cultural Institute of the University of North Florida.
