People keep asking when the next cleanup day is… so we heard you loud and clear—and this time we’re coming in organized-ish 😄701 Oakhill Road’s Mobile Home Park still needs some serious community love, and I just want to say—watching people show up, donate, and care has been incredible. Like, genuinely goosebumps-level stuff.
So here’s the plan:
Monday, April 6
We’re back at it—finishing the trash cleanup AND… plot twist… we might be building a garden 🌱
Yes, you read that right. The residents said, “we want a garden,” and honestly… say less. We’re making it happen.
We’ve got:
🌿 Plants coming from the Master Gardeners
🪨 Rock and grass seed from a landscaping company
🌳 More mulch than we know what to do with (seriously… so much mulch)
So this might turn into a cleanup day and a landscaping glow-up.
We’ll have food again (because we believe in snacks as motivation), and we’re working on having coffee—because let’s be real, raking without caffeine is just rude.
Gloves and PPE will be provided—just bring yourself, some good energy, and maybe a friend who doesn’t mind a little dirt.
Expect:
🍂 Lots of raking
🗑️ Lots of bagging
💪 A little sweat
❤️ And a whole lot of community
