OM WORKSHOPPEN This workshop fuses the dramatic intensity of Martha Graham’s technique with the dynamic flow of José Limón’s style, reimagining these legendary approaches for today’s dancers. In the first part, Jacqueline will break down iconic moves from both Graham and Limón, showing how they can be transformed to fit contemporary dance. Then, students will get hands-on, creating their own fresh movement sequences by remixing these classic gestures and molding them into personal, unique expressions. The workshop will wrap up with a showcase of these new, original forms—bridging the gap between the past and the cutting-edge dance styles of today.
OM UNDERVISEREN
Jacqueline Bulnes has been working as a professional in the fields of theater, dance, cinema, and music for over 25 years. She is best known for her career as Soloist with the Martha Graham Dance Company, José Limón Dance Company, and the Merce Cunningham Trust in New York. In her career, she has built a vast network of contacts with both artists and cultural organizations throughout Italy, Denmark, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, England, Scotland, and the United States. Jacqueline currently teaches at the School of the Opera of Rome, alongside her independent projects as master teacher, choreographer, movement director and production assistant.
