Come unwind, create, and connect in a relaxed, community-centered mixed media journaling experience at The Aligned Artist Studio. ✨This is not a traditional “step-by-step” art class. This is a space to explore, experiment, and create freely using a wide variety of mixed media materials available throughout the studio. Paint, collage, Posca markers, water colors, magazines, layering, Mod Podge, texture, stamping, writing, sketching — there are no rules here, only creative expression.
Participants are welcome to use all shared studio supplies during class with the art journal you will receive included in the proce! And if you’d like to make your journal even more personal, you’re encouraged to bring special items from home such as:
• photos
• notes or letters
• fabric scraps
• old book pages
• stickers
• ephemera
• meaningful keepsakes
• scrapbook materials
• or anything else you’d love to incorporate into your pages
This class is designed to be completely self-paced. Some people may spend the full class creating one or two highly detailed pages, while others may complete ten or more. There is no limit to how many pages you create during the 90-minute session — you are free to move at your own pace and create as much as inspiration allows.
Whether you come alone or with friends, this class is about more than journaling. It’s about slowing down, sharing space, creating in community, and enjoying a laid-back evening surrounded by creativity and connection.
No experience is necessary. All inclusive, all artistic levels, and creative styles are welcome.
