Those strange and unexpected sights you can't unsee. The bizarre and random occurrences that will leave you shaking your head for the rest of your days. THIS is a place for those stories! The weirder the better.
Join us at Factory Obscura (a place that celebrates weird!), 25 NW 9th St., for an evening of stories about the weirder things in life. This OKC StorySLAM is one of Factory Obscura's Adult Night events. General Admission is $24 per person, and $22 for students/teachers/military/seniors. Must be 21 or up to attend this event. The OKC StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling event. Participants are invited to tell a story in seven minutes or less, relating to the theme for each event. Our August theme is "That Was Weird" Stories must be true (or as best remembered by the storyteller) and told without the use of notes.
All participating storytellers can sign up to tell their story at the beginning of the evening. Prizes will be awarded to the best stories of the evening. Must be 21 or up to attend this event.
