Aliens, skin walkers, humanoids, and other mythological creatures...maybe you've seen em? With spooky season upon us, we invite y'all to gather around and share stories about your creature encounters.
Join us at Rodeo Cinema, 2221 Exchange Ave. in Stockyards City for an evening of stories about all creatures, great and small, creepy and cuddly. This OKC StorySLAM will be followed by a special featured movie, and admission will require purchase of a movie ticket. More details to come...
The OKC StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling event. Participants are invited to tell a story in seven minutes or less, relating to the theme for each event. Our October theme is " Creature Feature." Stories must be true (or as best remembered by the storyteller) and told without the use of notes.
All participating storytellers can sign up to tell their story at the beginning of the evening. Prizes will be awarded to the best stories of the evening. Must be 21 or up to attend this event.
