Mississauga ITALFEST is Mississauga’s first and premier Italian festival. Named one of the Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario, consecutively since its inaugural year in 2013. ITALFEST takes place annually in August and is a free event celebrating the beauty of Italian music, heritage and culture. We are thrilled to welcome 2026 for our 14th consenecutive year!
ITALFEST features delicious food and crafts from a variety of vendors and artisans, cultural and family-oriented activities, entertainment from local and international talent, a thriving “mercato” (market) and more. The festival spotlights a community rich in heritage, entertainment, culinary delights, family fun and diversity in Ontario.
Italfest’s 2026 featured region is Lombardy located in the Glass Pavillion which will house incredible displays of Lombardian culture. Famous people across time, artifacts, food sampling, musical performances, poetry, and works of art bring highlights of Italy’s Olympic region to life.

Friday's entertainment begins with the Mississauga Italstar Singers Showcase, featuring Open Mic Canada, Carlo Coppola & Claudio Santaluce, and celebrity chef Luciano Schiapano. As the sun sets, the festival comes alive with the popular Z.103.5 Under the Sauga Moon Dance Party, hosted by MC and comedian Frank Spadone and featuring Michael Vincent Quattro, Zoe, N'RIKO, Elissa, Armando Music, and legendary Tony Monaco and radio host and DJ Danny D will keep the party going at Mississauga Celebration Square until 11 pm. Get ready for non-stop dance hits!
Saturday offers a full day of cultural entertainment, community performers, Festa Popolare featuring Roberto Di Placido, celebrity chefs, family activities, bocce events and interactive attractions for all ages.
Headlining the evening is acclaimed Italian tenor Piero Mazzocchetti, direct from Italy. Joining him are Italian pop and folk sensation Armando Quattrone, Armando Music with special guest Soprano Scarlatto, and Canadian Italian music legend Alfie Zappacosta, the JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter behind timeless hits including Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone).
This year's international guests arriving direct from Italy include Pino Gioia, Armando Quattrone, and Piero Mazzocchetti.
