The Mirkwood Public house presents: Heat of RXN was founded in 2016 originally in Bellingham, Washington by two college dorm mates: Julio X and Houston Adams. In 2022, they completed Hypnotika, their first feature-length album. In 2023, Enthalpy was released, with songs like "Las Casas Silenciousas" (translated: "The Silent Houses") which was inspired by bands like Molchat Doma and Joy Division. As of 2024, the duo became a trio, adding Mi-kel Bollaert on guitar and production. Heat of RXN continues to evolve and performs music that draws inspiration from New Wave / Dark Wave / 90's techno / and Post-Punk.
