Join us for a free Mini-Spring Festival!
Bring the whole family along for a fun day of talks, hands-on workshops, stalls and gardening inspiration.
Get creative making a sunflower pot, a wire basket or cute cress heads, learn helpful plant-cutting tips, and discover more about Seeds to Feeds and the new Local Kai Island Bay (teaching how to make biochar!).
Enjoy a delicious rolling lunch from 11:30 am–1:30 pm, and don’t forget to bring along your spare plants or crops for our Crop & Plant Swap! Lots of cute things to take home, and everything is free!

Current order of events (subject to updates):
11.00am - Crop Swap presentation (TBC)
11.30am - Make a children's sunflower pot!
12.00pm - Local Kai Island Bay - Biochar presentation!
12.30pm - Growing from plant cuttings
1.00pm - Seeds to Feeds Wellington presentation
1.30pm - Make a wire hanging basket!
1.45pm - Make a cress head (cute seed pot character)!
All other happenings are rolling throughout 11-2pm, with kai 11.30-1.30pm. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space, so rain and shine options!
