Battle-Ska Galactica: Skank Up The Wellington Jazz Festival
Advertisement
Battle-Ska Galactica getting amongst the Wellington Jazz Festival, like a skanking great bull in a bee-bop shop, we gonna take your swing-a-ding-ding and put it on the offbeat!
We've got horns and we make it up as we go along - that's the qualifier. We might even skank up a jazz standard or two!
Otherwise, it's the Battle-Ska Galactica you know and love: high energy ska, slightly outrageous, opinionated, and never too serious. Cap off your Saturday night with a knees-up at Lynott's Irish pub.
It's not a huge space, so if you're in the mood for ska make sure you get there early and secure your spot on the d-floor.
$20 on the door
